We offer preconception counseling, annual gynecological exams/pap smears, perimenopausal/menopausal hormonal, and alternative hormonal care. Each woman is encouraged to be involved in their care and choices through education and discussion with a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM).
We are able to bill many PPO insurances for gyn services.
In addition to general health checkups, prenatal visits serve as an opportunity to develop rapport with a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) and discuss birth plans.
A Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) is on call 24/7 to assist you with any question while you are in labor and will help you assess when it is time to arrive at The Birth Center for the remainder of your labor and delivery.
After a birth, we provide continued care for both mother and baby through both home and clinic visits. A Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) is available 24/7 for important questions or concerns that may arise after birth.
Breastfeeding assistance is provided to clients immediately after birth, during home visits, postpartum office visits, and by phone. All members of The Birth Center team are lactation trained and certified lactation consultants can provide more intensive assistance as needed.
